The Begining!!

Right now I sit in a small office plugging away at a touch screen controlling the live feed of multiple horse racing. Mind numbing work! But creating this blog is allowing me time to think of future plans to cross the country by motor vehicle. Lauren and I have never traveled cross country by car before, and we are very excited to see every mile of the trip.

As we stand now, we are still in planing stages of a route. We have a couple of cities that are must sees, but how and when we get there is a whole different story. A few of our friends are making the same journey this summer and they are blogging their stories as well. Hopefully we can get some insight of the best places to be during this epic journey.

Lauren is beginning to think about what she is going to bring to her new home in San Fransisco. Everything must fit in the car, which definitely is going to be a problem. Within the next week she will be starting to organize her life into a compact and movable entity, and I'm sure she's not looking forward to that.

The next post will probably have definitive plans and maybe even secured camping grounds...so till next time.
